Full Time Cleaning Operative

Location: Office & Production Facility
Position: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday

Role Purpose

To ensure the office and production facility are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety, supporting a clean working environment for all staff and visitors.

Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Areas

• General cleaning of offices, communal areas, reception, corridors, and staff areas.
• Dusting and wiping desks, surfaces, and high-touch points.
• Emptying bins and managing waste disposal.
• Vacuuming carpets and cleaning hard floors.
• Cleaning kitchenettes, appliances, and break areas.
• Cleaning and restocking washrooms and toilets.

Production Facility

• Cleaning production floors, walkways, and workstations as required.
• Sweeping, mopping, and maintaining designated production zones.
• Sanitising equipment surfaces (non-technical) and high-contact areas.
• Ensuring waste bins are emptied and disposed of correctly.
• Following all site safety and hygiene protocols specific to the production environment.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to all company health and safety policies.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, following COSHH guidelines.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Report any hazards, damages, or maintenance issues promptly.

• Willingness to adapt to varying cleaning priorities within office and production areas.

Experience & Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience (office or industrial) preferred but not essential.
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
• Eligibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
