Full Time Day Porter

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team at a location in the south end of Kingston. The Day Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This position requires a proactive individual who can ensure that all areas are well-kept and presentable throughout the day, contributing to a positive environment for both staff and visitors.

Days: Monday to Friday

Shift: 8 am - 4 pm

Pay: $18/hr

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing various areas within the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas such as lobbies, restrooms, break rooms, and conference rooms.
• Monitor and restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and cafeteria.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact with staff and visitors professionally.
• Clean criminal background, a CPIC will be required
• Steel toed footwear

• Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
