Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages. Duties
- Provide attentive care to children, including infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills.
- Ensure the safety of all children by supervising their activities closely and implementing safety protocols.
- Support childhood development milestones through play, teaching basic skills, and behavior management techniques.
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards in daycare or classroom settings.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.
- Experience with toddler care and infant care routines.
- GED or High School Diploma is a minimum education requirement
- Clean Background Record
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions.
- Willingness to obtain certification in first aid and CPR (will be provided at no cost)
- Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
