Full Time Daycare Teacher

Job Overview

Duties

• Provide attentive care to children, including infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills.
• Ensure the safety of all children by supervising their activities closely and implementing safety protocols.
• Support childhood development milestones through play, teaching basic skills, and behavior management techniques.
• Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards in daycare or classroom settings.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.
• Experience with toddler care and infant care routines.
• GED or High School Diploma is a minimum education requirement
• Clean Background Record
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions.
• Willingness to obtain certification in first aid and CPR (will be provided at no cost)
• Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
