Full Time Sales Associate

Skills: Communication skills, Computer literacy, A valid driver’s license is preferred, and General retail sales knowledge

What to Expect:

This is a day shift the hours are: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our sales team.

The role includes working with customers in person and though other forms of communication. Ordering tires, rims, and small parts from our various vendors both online and over the phone. Using our software [Sage Business Visions] to record and track sales and vendor purchases.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information on products and services.
• Assist customers in selecting the best product for their needs.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and rebates
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Operate the POS, CRM and PO software efficiently
• You will work closely with your teammates to ensure the shop is running at its peak operational performance

Experience/Qualifications:

• High School Graduation Certificate would be an asset
• Automotive background or a sales background preferred
• 1+ years experience in a sales position
• Must possess a good telephone manner and be able to read and write English
• Strong/effective communication skills and present in a professional manner
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products; specifically, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Knowledge of Sage Business Visions is an asset
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Manage multiple tasks with competing demands and deadlines
• Flexibility to be assigned additional duties as needed
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a high volume fast paced environment
• Engages and operates with a high level of integrity and reliability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• sales: 1 year (required)
• Customer service: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Serving It Right (preferred)
