Fully Qualified Electrician

To support our continued growth and expansion, we are currently recruiting for a permanent full-time qualified Maintenance Electrician.

The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for carrying out planned & reactive maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and breakdown repair to within broad range of clients which includes service stations, supermarkets and commercial factories. Along side the Installation of PV panels.

Competencies:

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following competencies/ behaviours:

• Know and apply safe electrical practice according to guidelines set by relevant electrical safety supervisory bodies
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment.
• An ability to solve problems through root-cause elimination, stepping back to understand the broader context.
• Ensure all Company paperwork is completed accurately and legibly at all times and presented in a timely manner.
• Participate in the Company’s out of hours emergency call out rota as the need arises.
• Maintain a professional manner at all times and develop good working relationships with clients and other staff members.
• Locate & purchase small items of equipment as necessary to facilitate the speedy & effective service to our clients.
• Ability to maintain service level agreements (SLAs) through the implementation of proactive issue detection and immediate response
• Demonstrate good judgment and instincts in decision making.
• Prioritise appropriately in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to take ownership for technical issues brought by the customer base.
• Be capable of actively engaging and working collaboratively with other support teams to drive resolution of problems encountered

Qualifications

• Must have a professional electrical certification (National Craft Certificate (NCC),
• QC Certification
• Full Electrical trade background, possession of mechanical knowledge and experience a distinct advantage.
• HVAC knowledge and experience (highly useful).
• Experience of Emergency lighting testing (essential).
• Full clean Drivers Licence, Safe Pass, Manual Handling
