Stinchcomb Associates services The Home Depot garden centers throughout the Midwest and East Coast. We are seeking self-motivated and detail oriented individuals with a desire to enhance the visual appeal and organization of our garden centers. This role involves ensuring that garden centers are displayed effectively and providing exceptional customer service to maximize plant sales. We offer part time, full time, and seasonal employment opportunities.

Merchandiser is responsible for following planograms and the presentation and maintenance of live shrubs, trees, roses and seasonal items within a retail garden center.

This role will service the following Home Depot location(s):

• 6110 Lemmon Ave, Dallas, TX 75209
• 8555 Home Depot Rd, Irving, TX 75063
• 6200 W Park Blvd, Plano, TX 75093

*This is a seasonal position, with fluctuating hours based on store needs. There is no set weekly schedule. The Merchandiser is required to travel to all three Home Depot locations as needed.

Please note: A seasonal layoff period will begin approximately one week before Christmas, with work resuming in February or March, depending on store needs.

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Display plant material according to set standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the garden center to create an inviting shopping environment.
• Maintain and help sell plant material, which may include watering, signing, & pruning
• Effectively communicate with supervisor, store employees and other service teams
• Assist customers with inquiries regarding plant care and product selection

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18
• Complete and pass a backround check
• Complete the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) Survey
• Capacity to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication & organizational skills
• Positive attitude
• Able to stand, walk, kneel, squat, and bend over consistently throughout the day
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. consistently throughout the day
• Reliable transportation & valid driver's license
• Customer service experience
