General Accounting Supervisor - Cpa

I. BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible for supervising the General Accounting team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant recording of all financial transactions. This role supports the preparation and analysis of financial reports, assists in forecasting, and ensures adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the General Ledger Accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate transaction entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide analytical insights to management.
• Monitor and analyze cost structures and revenue trends to drive financial efficiency and performance.
• Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and risk analysis to aid in strategic planning.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and documentation of accounting processes.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
• Present financial analyses and reports to management, including recommendations for process improvements.
• Ensure the organization complies with applicable financial regulations and stays aligned with industry best practices.
• Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and provide guidance for implementation.

III. QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
• CPA license preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years supervisory experience in general accounting or a similar role

Competencies:

• Strong background in financial reporting and analysis
• Proficient in SAP and other financial systems
• Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High level of integrity, honesty, and sense of urgency

Physical Effort / Working Conditions:

• Primarily office-based with standard working hours
• May require occasional extended hours during reporting deadlines
• MUST be willing to work in Salapungan, San Rafael, Bulacan

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
