ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, we’re looking for a Taranaki based general labourer with proven experience on civil construction projects.

Role tasks:

· Manual labour including lifting, carrying and shovelling

· Operation of small plant and machinery on which you have been deemed competent

· Assisting other trades on site to allow tasks to be completed efficiently

· Spotting of operators using plant and machinery

· Placing concrete

· Collecting and/or delivering materials

· General housekeeping and site cleaning

About you:

· Taranaki based

· Strong understanding of and commitment to health and safety

· Full drivers licence

· Excellent work ethic with the ability to work well in a team and follow instructions

· Sound health and physical fitness with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather

· Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests

As our projects span geographical regions, it is important that you are prepared to travel and stay away as required.
