General Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various systems. We are seeking someone who is well rounded in repairing and maintaining general systems including plumbing, drywall, basic electrical such as changing commercial light bulbs, painting, etc. This role involves maintenance tasks, ensuring high-quality customer service, and excellent communication . The General Maintenance position is crucial in maintaining our equipment and infrastructure, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace damaged items in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance-related inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Daily communication to maintain schedules, work orders, and inventory management.
• Maintain, repair, and fabricate equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot issues related to logic controllers and other automated systems. (Training provided for the right candidate )
• Lead and assist in repairs and installations.
• Use provided tools to diagnose and repair issues effectively.
• Be willing to stay overnight in company paid hotels 1-5 days a week.

Experience

• Proven experience in a maintenance role or similar position is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair accurately.
• Experience in supervising teams or projects is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in welding techniques is advantageous. We will train the right candidate
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency in all operations.
• English and Spanish language are preferred
• Must have a valid and clean drivers license
• Ability to work in non smoking facilities with a strict non smoking policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
