Energywise Ireland is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Retrofit General Operative with to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing construction and retrofit projects, contributing to the overall success and quality of our endeavours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construction Support:
• Work collaboratively with the construction team to support various aspects of the project.
• Assist in the installation of retrofit components and materials.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that work meets the required standards of quality and craftsmanship.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Report any safety concerns promptly to the relevant authorities.
• Efficiency and Productivity:
• Work efficiently to meet project timelines and contribute to overall project productivity.
• Material Handling:
• Handle and transport materials related to overall works in a safe and organized manner.
• Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other team members and trades to ensure smooth project progression.
• Tools and Equipment:
• Properly use and maintain tools and equipment
• Site Maintenance
• Ensure the site/s are maintained to a high standard.
• Assist with site security and that all materials are stored safely during out of hours or site closures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Snagging and Insulation Experience:
• Demonstrated experience within the construction or retrofit industry.
• General Construction Skills:
• Basic knowledge and skills in other construction-related tasks.
• Safety Conscious:
• Prioritize safety in all tasks and activities.
• Team Player:
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physical Fitness:
• Capable of performing tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
• Attention to Detail:
• Pay meticulous attention to detail to achieve high-quality finishes.

Health & Safety Requirements:

• CSCS Cards – an advantage but not necessary
• Full Drivers Licence
• Safe Pass
• Manual Handling
• Working at heights –an advantage but not necessary
• Abrasive wheel
