General Operative – Delivery & Site-Based Work

Location: Factory / Site (as required)
Reports to: Factory / Operations Manager

Role Overview
The General Operative supports factory deliveries and site-based work, ensuring kitchens and materials are delivered, handled, and supported on site in a safe and professional manner. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Support deliveries to site and customer locations
• Assist with on-site handling of materials and components
• Follow instructions from site supervisors and fitters
• Ensure materials are handled and stored safely on site
• Represent the company professionally on customer sites
• Maintain health & safety standards at all times
• Carry out general factory or site duties as required

Essential Requirements

• Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Willingness to work on sites and travel as required

Mandatory Certifications

• Manual Handling Certificate (required)
• Safe Pass (required)

Desirable

• Previous site or delivery experience
• Full clean driving licence (advantage but not essential)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €15.75 per hour

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
• Forklift Licence (required)

• Ireland (required)
