General Operative - Cutting

McHale is currently recruiting for a General Operative in our Cutting Department. This is a permanent position, reporting to the Cutting Supervisor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working as part of a team in a well organised Cutting Department.
• Organising steel for Welding.
• Cutting steel using specialised equipment.
• Identify any quality issues.
• Continuous improvement of standards in their workstation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in similar role, preferably in Manufacturing.
• Previous experience in CNC desirable.
• Forklift licence desirable.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and a quality orientated mindset is essential.
