Role Overview

The General Operative will support the final stages of a solar farm project, focusing on site clean-up, finishing works, and preparing the site for handover to the client. This role is hands-on and suited to someone reliable, organised, and willing to help wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

Site Clean-Up

• Collect and remove waste materials from across the site
• Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe
• Sort materials for disposal, recycling, or storage

Finishing Works Support

• Assist with minor finishing tasks as directed by the supervisor
• Help tidy cable runs, signage, and small site details
• Support final checks to ensure the site meets handover standards

General Duties

• Move materials, tools, and equipment around the site
• Assist different teams as required
• Carry out basic tasks using hand tools

Health & Safety

• Follow all site safety rules and wear PPE at all times
• Report any hazards or issues to the supervisor
• Work safely and responsibly at all times

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Safepass
• Previous experience in a construction or outdoor work environment (preferred but not essential)
• Good attitude and willingness to work
• Ability to carry out manual work
• Reliable and punctual

Desirable

• Manual Handling certificate
• Experience on construction or infrastructure sites

Working Conditions

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Physical role involving lifting, walking, and general labour
• Standard site working hours (with possible overtime)

Additional Requirements

• Ability to travel to site
• Right to work in Ireland

Pay: €13.50-€22.62 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
