General Operative / Welder

Christopher Engineering Limited are seeking a full-time permanent General Operative with Welding experience to join an expanding team.

We service public transport providers and tourist attractions.

The role is full-time working 7.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate should be able to commute to Clondalkin at 7.30am each morning for transport to the relevant site for the day. If the successful candidate wants to commute to the site directly, they must be flexible in terms of travelling to the location at short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

• General day to day maintenance of mechanical systems
• Conducting repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment
• General fabrication
• Be able to work on own initiative
• Quality of work to be of a high standard, free of defects and with a high level of attention to detail
• Operating machinery and heavy equipment
• Ensuring the completion of work on time
• Cleaning the job site to minimize accidents
• Following safety precautions
• Completing ad-hoc tasks required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 years on the job experience, Warehouse Operative with Welding
• Must hold a valid Safe Pass
• Must have a valid Manual Hand
• Having a Welding qualification will be a distinct advantage
• Strong Attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Flexibility
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland 40 hours per week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
