General Service & Tire Technician:

Overview: Our company is looking for an experienced Tire and General Service Technician for our Wadsworth Location Van's Auto Service & Tire Pros has been family owned and operated for over 30 years providing 5-star customer service.

Responsibilities:

· Inspect tires on vehicles before and after installation

· Perform tire rotations, balancing, and other maintenance tasks

· Perform oil changes, checking fluid levels, replace worn parts such as brake pads, wheel bearings etc.

· Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements: This job operates in an automotive shop environment. The job will expose the workers to a moderate noise level, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust.

· Must be able to lift, carry, and stock merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs. without assistance

· Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time

· Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting

Professional Qualifications:

· Must be proficient in general vehicle inspections, changing of tires, and completing oil changes

· Minimum 2 years of experience in an auto shop/mechanic setting strongly preferred

· Proven knowledge of vehicle maintenance operations

· Ability to work a flexible schedule with great attendance.

*All candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR history.
