Portland's most popular Ghost Tour is looking for professional guides who enjoy the macabre and history! Join us as we explore Portland on foot after dark.

We're looking to hire up to 2 new tour guides who can work Saturday and Sunday.

Experience in theater/public speaking is a HUGE PLUS!

This is a walking tour, so guides must be able to walk several blocks for an hour+.

Pay starts at $18 an hour plus tips!

Tours are in the evening on weekends, so those with day jobs are encouraged to apply!

College students, retirees, and everyone in between welcome.

**Duties:**

- Conduct engaging tours for groups, providing insightful information about historical sites, landmarks, and local culture

- Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants throughout the tour

- Answer questions from tour participants and provide exceptional customer service

- Maintain a professional and enthusiastic demeanor at all times

- Adhere to tour schedules and time management to ensure a smooth experience for guests

- Utilize public speaking skills to deliver informative and entertaining tours

- Educate visitors on the significance of each location visited

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse groups of people

- Exceptional customer service abilities to create a positive experience for guests

- Proficient in public speaking to engage and captivate audiences

- Leadership skills to guide and manage tour groups effectively

- Time management skills to keep tours on schedule and ensure all locations are visited

Job Types: Seasonal, Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $18+ per hour with TIPS

Expected hours: 3–15 per week
