Golf Shop Sales Associate

The Naperville Park District is looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our Golf team. This position provides excellent customer service and assist with reservations and the sales of merchandise. If you enjoy working with the public and enjoy golf, apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers on the phone and in person, with processes and questions providing an exceptional customer service experience and promoting Park District services and facilities.
• Monitor safety of golf patrons.
• Collect appropriate fees.
• Reserve tee times.
• Assist in general maintenance and cleanliness of clubhouse.
• Assist in presentation and sale of merchandise.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Working knowledge of the operations of golf courses and facilities.
• Ability to display professionalism with patrons.
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns.
• Working knowledge of basic computer software. Ability to learn new software.
• Ability to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing 30 lbs on a daily basis. Lifting assistance is required when lifting > 30 lbs.
