Graphic Design Team Manager - Remote Wfh

Our company, Moltonrox.com designs about 100 new/reformulated/repackaged consumer personal care products for launch in the US/EU markets each month. The products fall within the skincare, haircare, bath/body, aromatherapy, and other wellness categories.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to direct the graphic design team. We use Trello for work and file management.

The goal is to improve productivity, work quality and deliverables within the team.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for managing multiple tasks and collaborating with internal departments in a fast-paced setting. You should be eager to play a key role in maintaining the organizations interest and the momentum of our 7-10 persons team of remote designers while also being prepared to offer creative contributions. Majority of the creative work revolves around packaging design.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating boards, lists, and cards, as well as setting up automation, integrations, and notifications in Trello.
• Manage all creative work direction, intakes, assignment, and the execution and completion of all creative requests inline with monthly/weekly goals.
• Create daily tasks for the creative team and provide a clear guidance before they begin their tasks to ensure high quality deliverables within given time.
• Gather assets and provide early-stage creative setup to better assist designers and writers.
• Implement an efficient file storage and file naming system.
• Ensure files marked ‘FINAL’ have been fully checked and are ready for print or other executions.
• Management of designer sources for fonts and images to prevent copyright issues.
• Strategically prioritize and re-prioritize tasks based on deadlines requirements, designers speed and capability.
• Lead daily Morning Meetings and consistent daily communication with the creative team.
• Correct and improve designer’s work.
• Ensure timely delivery of daily work and a reduction in ‘careless’ revisions.
• Create accountability provisions for continuous sub-par work.
• Resolve or escalate issues or blocks when encountered.
• Regularly monitor team member work capacity, efficiency, and productivity.
• Firing of under-performing creative team members.
• Prepare final design presentations for sales team weekly.
• Other tasks and duties per business needs.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 4+ years in creative team project management.
• Talents: Packaging Design, Print Ready Files, Team Management.
• Skills: Styling, color management, copywriting.
• People Management: Ability to nurture, communicate and collaborate.
• Project Management: Excellent time management, detail oriented.
• File Management: Excellent folder and file organization skills.
• Trends: Knowledge of beauty, colours and beauty packaging trends.
• Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Adobe: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign skills.

Work from Home Requirements:

• You are able to focus on work when working from home without distractions.
• You are able to answer phone calls immediately without delay or call backs.
• You have a recent model computer and minimally a 24" monitor.
• You have high speed internet and no electricity or power related issues.
• You have a desk and a quiet working area capable of video calls.
• You agree to have a productivity monitoring software installed on your working computer.
• During your free time while on company clock, you will be researching new design and packaging ideas and create PowerPoint files that can be used for future projects.

Working Hours:

• 9am to 6pm Indian Standard Time Monday to Saturday. 1 Hour Lunch Break.
• You cannot be employed at multiple places, and you cannot take on contract/freelance jobs while working for us.
• Our contract is for Exclusive employment.

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
