Principal Accountabilities
Responsible for the maintenance, repair, upgrade, and appearance of all Ammonia and Freon Refrigeration and environmental equipment in the facility, using hand tools to perform maintenance on machinery
Ensuring food safety and quality
Cleanliness and housekeeping
Maintenance of electrical and control circuits associated with refrigeration equipment
Coil and equipment cleaning
Maintenance of Evaporative Condenser Units
Repair and maintenance of Freon condenser and evaporator coils
Repair/Replace fan motors and fan blades
Install and repair various valves and other components in ammonia systems
Use math to document changes in the system levels, pressures, etc.
Use computer to complete data entry
Maintaining a safe working environment

Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work in a cold to warm environment
Ability to work with a variety of hand tools
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to perform basic math
Must pass a respirator fit test and physical

Preferred Qualifications
Previous production/maintenance/refrigeration experience
RETA CARO certification
Previous Cargill experience
Previous food manufactoring experience
