As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing staff, and ensuring that the store operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
• Manage employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours while maintaining labor costs.
• Train and develop staff in retail sales techniques, customer service best practices, and store policies.
• Utilize POS systems for transactions, inventory tracking, and reporting purposes.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding product buying and promotions.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment that enhances the shopping experience for customers.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in math for handling cash transactions and inventory calculations.
• Excellent team management abilities to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Experience as a clerk or in retail sales is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members alike.
• Knowledge of store management practices to optimize operations and drive sales performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
