Job description

As Group Financial Controller you'll get an exciting opportunity that involves regular collaboration with international teams and the potential for travel. This pivotal role is designed for a strategic financial controller adept at optimizing processes and elevating reporting standards.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidations for the Group;
• Engage in detailed discussions on monthly figures with regional CFOs;
• Foster close collaboration with finance teams across global regions;
• Ensure strict adherence to IFRS standards;
• Proactively identify and implement efficiencies in accounting and reporting;
• Spearhead the adoption of best practices in financial controls throughout the organization;
• Support the Group Finance Director in preparing master and local files, as well as reviewing tax calculations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
• RA (Dutch CPA), CPA or ACCA is preferred ;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a (Big 4) accounting firm working with international clients;
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and group reporting standards;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally (up to 10 trips per year);
• Knowledge of Power BI and/or SQL is a pre;
• Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).
