The Front Desk Attendant plays a key role in shaping our guests’ journey from the moment they walk through our doors. You will assist with check-ins, check-outs, reservations, inquiries, and guest support, ensuring that every person who stays with us feels valued, heard, and well taken care of. This position requires strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude
Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
Assist with reservations, room assignments, and guest inquiries
Maintain accurate records using property management systems
Resolve guest concerns with empathy and confidence
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Handle payments, deposits, billing inquiries, and related documentation
Provide local information, recommendations, and assistance to enhance guest satisfaction
Maintain lobby and front desk presentation standards
Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and service standards
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Comfortable working with computers and hotel management software
A positive, professional, and service-oriented attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
