We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Braider, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair braiding services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional salon environment. Your expertise in various hair techniques, along with your strong customer service skills, will help create an unforgettable experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform various hair braiding styles and techniques, including traditional and contemporary designs.
• Provide additional services such as hair extensions, hair threading, and eyelash extensions as needed.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with salon policies.
• Utilize salon software, including MINDBODY, for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Offer personalized consultations to clients regarding their hair care needs and preferences.
• Assist with front desk duties, including greeting clients and managing retail sales.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills to build rapport with clients and ensure their satisfaction.
• Mentor junior staff members in braiding techniques and customer service best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, color theory, and salon services.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license is preferred.
• Proficiency in hair braiding techniques and experience with hair extensions is essential.
• Familiarity with salon software systems like MINDBODY is a plus.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices within a salon environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products and services effectively.
• Good communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
• Experience in retail sales and knowledge of retail math is beneficial.

• $150 weekly booth rent , rent is negotiable

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $22.73 - $27.37 per hour
