Salary: Starting$3,000/month

Working days: 5-6 days a week

As a Scalp Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in restoring balance, promoting healthy hair growth, and delivering deeply rejuvenating head spa treatments that go far beyond the surface. You’ll be part of a creative and holistic studio where your work helps people reconnect with themselves, one session at a time.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality head spa treatments including scalp cleansing, massage therapy, steaming, and detox rituals.
• Conduct scalp consultations and recommend suitable treatment plans and home care products.
• Educate clients on scalp and hair health, including product usage and lifestyle guidance.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
• Maintain detailed client records for return visits and personalized care.
• Collaborate with stylists and front-of-house team to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications of the role:

• Certification in massage scalp therapy, or beauty/wellness treatments (head spa experience a major plus).
• Strong hands-on massage technique and understanding of pressure points.
• Warm, intuitive, and professional client service skills.
• A calm, focused presence and a genuine interest in healing work.
• Basic knowledge of hair/scalp anatomy, product ingredients, and wellness trends.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Key Deliverables:

• Deliver head spa treatments in accordance with brand protocols and timing standards.
• Upsell treatment upgrades or packages in alignment with client needs.
• Prepare and reset treatment room between every session
• Encourage repeat bookings and build client loyalty with thoughtful follow-ups.
• Stay current with scalp health trends, ingredients, and wellness practices.
• Coordinate smoothly with stylists to enhance integrated hair + scalp experiences.
