Job Summary

Duties

• Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and special treatments
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and products
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
• Upsell retail hair care products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
• Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalized service
• Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming and professional salon environment

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations
• Proven experience in hair styling and customer service within a salon setting
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures in a salon environment
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently to clients
• Excellent front desk skills including appointment scheduling and payment processing
• Retail sales experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• A friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best
