At Ichi Group, we are expanding our contemporary Japanese fine dining concept in the Netherlands. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head Chef to lead our kitchen with authority, creativity, and discipline.

About the Role

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading the culinary direction of our Japanese concept. You will oversee kitchen operations, menu development, team leadership, cost control, and quality standards while maintaining the highest level of precision and presentation.

Requirements

• Recognized Culinary Arts diploma (minimum MBO level 3 or equivalent international qualification)
• Formal culinary education (no short courses)
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience
• Proven leadership experience in fine dining
• Advanced knowledge of sushi, omakase, kaiseki, robata, french or Nikkei cuisine
• Strong understanding of flavor balance, seasonality, and modern plating
• English proficiency

Pay: From €3.000,00 per month
