This is a full-time, on-site role located in Groningen for a Head Chef specializing in Pakistani and Indian cuisine. The Head Chef will be responsible for planning and preparing traditional and innovative dishes, managing kitchen staff, ensuring the quality of ingredients, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety. Additionally, the role involves creating new menu items, overseeing daily food preparation, and managing inventory and kitchen supplies effectively.
Qualifications
Extensive experience and expertise in Pakistani and Indian cuisine, including knowledge of traditional ingredients, techniques, and recipes.
Skills in kitchen management, such as team leadership, menu planning, and managing food preparation timelines.
Knowledge and adherence to food safety standards and sanitation best practices.
A strong creative ability to develop innovative dishes while maintaining authenticity.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to lead and collaborate with staff effectively.
A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: €2.500,00 - €3.500,00 per month
