At Lynk & Co we’re setting new standards for operational and financial excellence. As a forward-thinking organization, we value accuracy, collaboration, and impactful decision-making. We’re looking for an experienced Head of Accounting to lead our accounting team in Gothenburg.
In this strategic leadership role, you’ll oversee financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls while contributing to the company’s growth through insightful financial management. Your expertise in accounting, paired with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will ensure the integrity and transparency of our financial operations.
What you will do:
Financial Reporting: Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS).
Internal Controls: Establish, monitor, and improve internal control systems to maintain compliance and financial data integrity.
Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Audit Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for external auditors and ensure smooth audit processes.
Budget Management: Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting activities to align with organizational goals.
Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to accounting policies.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks, propose mitigation strategies, and engage with relevant stakeholders.
Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators to assess and enhance the accounting department’s efficiency and effectiveness.
What you'll do
A minimum of 5 years in accounting or financial management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred)
Expertise in GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools.
Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive and strategic mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
