Head Of Marketing & Branding

As part of our new commercial organisation structure we are seeking to hire a strategic and hands-on leader to develop and head Dagens Næringsliv and DN Media Group’s new Marketing & Branding team. The role carries both strategic and operational responsibility for strengthening the Group’s brands, developing effective marketing campaigns, and ensuring consistent profiling of our publications, services, and events

This position will report directly into the Chief Commercial Office and will be based out of our Oslo office.

Your strategic role:


As Head of Marketing & Branding, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing the company’s overall marketing and brand strategy.
  • Building and leading a high-performing team across marketing, branding, communications, and design.
  • Ensuring clear and consistent positioning of the Group’s brands – both nationally and internationally.
  • Driving campaigns and initiatives that increase awareness, relevance, and preference in the market.
  • Working closely with editorial and commercial teams, as well as product & tech to ensure marketing initiatives contribute to concrete revenue goals.
  • Collaborating across editorial, product, and events to strengthen the overall brand impact of DN Media Group.

Your profile:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Solid experience in marketing and brand management.
  • A proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong background in digital marketing, including performance marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • A solid understanding of brand building across different channels, including events and live experiences.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • The ability to motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to navigate a complex organization.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
