Health & Safety Advisor

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Health & Safety Advisor to join our team based in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with Irish health & safety legislation and internal company policies.
• Carry out regular site inspections and safety audits, recording findings and following up on corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain project-specific health & safety documents, including risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), safety statements, inductions, and toolbox talk records.
• Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks to both employees and subcontractors.
• Promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement across all project teams.
• Lead or assist in the investigation of incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending preventive actions.
• Contribute to internal HSE reporting, audits, and the enhancement of safety management systems.

Requirements:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar H&S role within the Irish construction industry.
• Strong understanding of Irish construction health & safety laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites and tasks independently.
• Full Irish driving licence and access to own transport (company vehicle provided).
• Must have full legal rights to work in Ireland.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €36,568.40-€70,185.30 per year
