JOB DETAILS

The Healthcare Administrator will be responsible for managing communication with medical staff, patients, and external stakeholders, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with healthcare information systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in health administration, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to quality improvement and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between medical staff, patients, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, and coordinating with different departments to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Healthcare Information Systems: Utilize healthcare information systems and electronic health records (EHR) management to maintain accurate and secure patient data.
  • CRM Management: Use customer relationship management (CRM) systems, such as Salesforce, to manage patient and stakeholder interactions effectively.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
  • Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts to enhance the overall patient experience and administrative efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with patient privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) and data security practices to protect patient information.
  • Data Security: Oversee data security protocols to ensure the protection of sensitive healthcare information.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in health administration or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in healthcare information systems, EHR management, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Administrative Expertise: Proven experience in developing and implementing administrative policies and procedures.
  • Quality Improvement: Strong background in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization within a healthcare setting.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with patient privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) and data security practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with medical staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling administrative duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with project management in healthcare settings.
  • Knowledge of healthcare accreditation standards.
  • Familiarity with billing and coding processes.
