Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of elevators and escalators. This role requires a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. The Elevator Technician will ensure that all equipment operates safely and efficiently while adhering to industry standards.

Valid CCCM California license required.

Heavy lifting and ladder work

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic and electrical elevator systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of elevator components.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on elevators to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond promptly to service calls and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to enhance service delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends, safety regulations, and technological advancements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Elevator Technician or in a related field such as industrial mechanics or electrical maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in hydraulics and industrial maintenance.
• Familiarity with field service operations and customer service principles.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
