Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality, making them feel instantly welcomed
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth seating flow
• Communicate clearly with guests regarding wait times, menu suggestions, and special requests using excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including menus and waiting areas
• Handle guest inquiries professionally, providing accurate information about services, hours, or special events
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest experience

Experience

• Previous host or hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Background in food service, hospitality, or hotel guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and guest relations practices is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to handle phone inquiries professionally and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly, energetic approach
