As a Host/Host, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency. What you’ll do

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly
• Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area
• Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls, taking reservations, and providing information about the menu
• Foster positive guest relations by creating a welcoming environment for all patrons
• Support restaurant operations by assisting with special events or additional duties as needed

Basic qualifications

• Previous host/host experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in food service or hospitality industry
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus
• Background in hotel guest services or related fields is advantageous
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
