Hostess Cashier

We are a family-owned Italian restaurant group with over 20 successful locations and are excited to expand to Westbury, NY. We are currently seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk team member to be the first point of contact for our guests. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Position: Front Desk / Host / Cashier

Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time positions available

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner

- Answer incoming phone calls and manage reservations

- Operate the POS system and handle cash, credit, and takeout orders

- Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth guest flow

- Maintain an organized front desk and waiting area

- Provide accurate wait times and assist guests with questions or special requests

Qualifications:

- Previous restaurant, host, or front desk experience preferred

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail

- Comfortable handling cash and POS systems

- Professional, friendly, and calm under pressure

- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Knowledge of reservation applications like OpenTable or Resy

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
