Host/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to customer service. As a Host/Server, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Operate the POS system for order processing and payment transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and guest service standards.

Skills

• Previous host/host or server experience is preferred.
• Strong background in food service and hospitality environments.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Experience in hotel settings or guest services is advantageous.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations or inquiries effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
