Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer guest inquiries via phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about menu items and wait times
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely seating and service flow
• Assist guests throughout their dining experience by addressing needs and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas
• Support serving staff by managing guest seating, order taking, and delivering exceptional guest services when needed

Qualifications

• Previous host/host experience in a busy restaurant or food service setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices
