Are you a night owl with a passion for customer service? Cobblestone Hotel & Suites is seeking a dedicated and friendly Night Audit Front Desk Clerk to be the face of our hotel during the overnight shift. Position Type: Part-Time

As a Night Audit Front Desk Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a pleasant stay. Your essential functions will include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting and checking in guests with a warm smile and outstanding service.
• Performing guest transactions, balancing reports, and processing reservations and credit card payments efficiently.
• Assisting in training new front desk staff to uphold our high service standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas as needed.
• Delivering guest requests (cribs, towels, etc.) to various rooms promptly.
• Resolving guest complaints with professionalism and care.
• Demonstrating excellent communication skills and maintaining a neat appearance behind the front desk and in the lobby area.
• Managing cash control effectively, ensuring the cash drawer is kept at a minimum.
• Operating phone switchboard and TDD equipment courteously for hearing-impaired guests.
• Conducting light maintenance tasks and restocking front desk supplies.
• Recording important information in the clerk logbook and shift reports.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely room status updates and repairs.
• Monitoring and recording pool and hot tub chemical readings as required.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a friendly demeanor and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in using a calculator.
• Familiarity with computer equipment and willingness to learn new software.
• Ability to handle cash responsibly and ensure accurate cash control.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and additional shifts as needed.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
