HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES

JOB DESCRIPTION

DAILY IN EACH ROOM:

Sweep and mop (move beds and other furniture)

Clean and disinfect bedrails, sinks, door knobs, overbed tables, toilets and dirty walls.

Clean along baseboards

WEEKLY IN EACH ROOM:

Dust window sills

Dust light fixtures

Dust mini blinds

Dust/wipe down night stand

Dust curtain tops

Clean and dust room and bathroom air vents

Dust top of the closets

Wash windows

DAILY:

Change water in hopper rooms on each hall

Check hopper rooms for enough disinfection (NABC)

Make sure dining room mini blinds are halfway up

Rooms will be inspected daily by Supervisor

Saturday-front entry and living are

Sunday-front and back nurses station and back living room
