Hr Administrative Assistant

We are a well-established and growing company based in New Orleans, LA, seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrative Assistant to join our team. Job Description:
As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth operations and efficient handling of HR tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for supporting HR initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing orientation materials and scheduling training.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and other HR matters.
  • Prepare and process HR-related paperwork, including new hire documents, performance reviews, and compliance reports.
  • Help with organizing company events, training sessions, and team-building activities.
  • Support payroll administration and ensure employee information is accurate.
  • Assist with compliance-related tasks and audits.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned by the HR department.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR or administrative support role, ideally in a corporate environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws is a plus.

Pay: $19.21 - $21.52 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
