HR Generalist

We are seeking a highly motivated HR Generalist with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition to join our growing construction firm. You will play a vital role in leading end-to-end recruitment processes while also supporting broader HR functions such as employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (Primary Focus):

  • Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Lead the full recruitment cycle: job postings, resume screening, interviews, assessments, and offer negotiations.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
  • Champion the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and engaging new hire experience.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics to assess and improve hiring effectiveness.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture through proactive engagement initiatives.

Performance Management & Development:

  • Support performance appraisal cycles and help managers implement development plans.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate relevant internal or external training programs.

HR Administration & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate HR records including personnel files, attendance, and leave tracking.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with labor laws and industry regulations.
  • Process HR transactions such as payroll inputs, benefits enrollment, and employment documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of HR experience, with a strong track record in recruitment.
  • Experience in the construction or related industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Job Type: Full-time
