HR Generalist
We are seeking a highly motivated HR Generalist with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition to join our growing construction firm. You will play a vital role in leading end-to-end recruitment processes while also supporting broader HR functions such as employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (Primary Focus):
- Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Lead the full recruitment cycle: job postings, resume screening, interviews, assessments, and offer negotiations.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
- Champion the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and engaging new hire experience.
- Monitor recruitment metrics to assess and improve hiring effectiveness.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture through proactive engagement initiatives.
Performance Management & Development:
- Support performance appraisal cycles and help managers implement development plans.
- Identify training needs and coordinate relevant internal or external training programs.
HR Administration & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate HR records including personnel files, attendance, and leave tracking.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with labor laws and industry regulations.
- Process HR transactions such as payroll inputs, benefits enrollment, and employment documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of HR experience, with a strong track record in recruitment.
- Experience in the construction or related industry preferred.
- Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
