Position Title: HR Generalist – Supervisor Level
Job Summary:
The HR Generalist is responsible for overseeing and executing end-to-end HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations. This role supervises daily HR activities covering recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and policy implementation. The position plays a key role in supporting the HR Head in driving employee engagement, process improvement, and organizational development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring timely placement of qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify manpower requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Employee Relations and Engagement
- Provide guidance and resolution on employee concerns, disciplinary cases, and grievance management in compliance with labor laws.
- Support the design and execution of employee engagement programs, retention initiatives, and organizational culture activities.
- Maintain strong communication channels between management and employees.
Performance Management
- Administer and monitor the performance management system, ensuring objective evaluation and documentation.
- Support managers in conducting performance appraisals and providing feedback for employee development.
Benefits, and HR Administration
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee records, contracts, and personnel files.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements.
Policy and Compliance
- Implement HR policies and procedures and recommend updates aligned with current labor regulations.
- Ensure compliance with DOLE standards, company handbook, and code of conduct.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of solid HR experience
- Strong understanding of Philippine Labor Laws, HR policies, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in manufacturing or shared services environment preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities.
