Hse Advisor

Monadelphous is seeking interest from HSE Advisors to work within our Mining and Minerals North West Region. Playing an essential role in the Coastal & West Pilbara team on recently awarded projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide HSE advice and expertise to the site team
• Conducting and supporting HSE audits, inspections, investigations and training/awareness
• Monitor work practices to ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures and standards
• Ensure all HSE processes and activities; JHA’s, permits etc. comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards
• Provide hands on support to implement HSE improvements, plans or solutions

What you’ll bring:

• Certificate IV qualification in OHS and/ or Environmental or related area is essential, Diploma preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar HSE role
• Previous contractor experience with BHP, FMG or Rio Tinto
• Well established knowledge of site HSE policies and procedures, and extensive knowledge of HSE legislation and standards and their relevance to Monadelphous
• Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
• Ability to work autonomously and show initiative with a strong work ethic
• Proof of right to work in Australia
