As a valued member of our team, reporting directly to the Manager, Human Resources you will collaborate closely with a dynamic group of Human Resources Consultants.
What You’ll Do
You’ll act with integrity to:
- Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in a non-partisan support role.
- Protect sensitive employee data, such as personal information.
You’ll support our collaboration as you:
- Assist employees with general HR inquiries.
- Administer entitlements, policies, and procedures, handle employee inquiries, and provide HR guidance. Assist new employees with their onboarding and orientation.
- Complete/payroll forms as needed, such as new hires, contract revisions, terminations, and other documents.
- Maintain employee records and ensures data accuracy.
- Respond to requests from internal and external organizations, including legal and insurance inquiries. Produce salary confirmation letters. Protect the privacy of sensitive information.
- Assist with performance appraisal program by preparing correspondence, collecting appraisals, updating the database, and sending salary changes to payroll.
- Provide Human Resources coverage as and when needed.
How You Qualify
You demonstrate excellence through your:
- Strong communication skills for responding to inquiries, interacting with management and staff, and discussing administrative matters with Executives and hiring managers.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, with French as an asset.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to clients and job applicants on a daily basis.
- Effective presentation skills for training managers and staff on recruitment and HR processes.
- Experience with recruitment and staffing practices, including salary and benefits administration.
- High energy levels and the ability to manage multiple projects in addition to daily tasks.
- Effective strategies for outreach, advertising, and success based on previous successes.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and a flexible approach to work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including prioritization and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using technology and software, including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook, to create reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and correspondence.
