Ice Cream Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Ice Cream Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious ice cream cones and ensuring the highest quality standards in food safety and sanitation. Your attention to detail will play a crucial role in delighting our customers with unique and tasty treats.

Duties

• Prepare and scoop ice cream according to established training.
• Operate ice cream machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling products when appropriate in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards before serving to customers.
• Assist in training new staff on proper food handling techniques and equipment operation.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and inventory suppplies.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Strong time management skills to ensure efficient production during peak hours.
• Experience with customer service and upselling techniques is a plus.
• A passion for creating delicious desserts and an eagerness to learn new skills in a kitchen environment.

Pay: $16.40-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
