Immediate Need For Unarmed Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing various surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and respond effectively when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
• Operate and maintain CCTV systems for surveillance purposes.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential security risks.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required.
• Document incidents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of activities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during emergencies or investigations.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A valid security officer certification may be required based on state regulations.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
