Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our experienced painters, gaining hands-on experience in surface preparation, paint application, and equipment maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialized skills in industrial painting, while ensuring high-quality finishes and safety compliance in sign manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in painting materials and components used in sign production.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking before paint application.
- Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and other coatings using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
- Help maintain painting tools and equipment in working order.
- Follow and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Perform touch-ups and finish smaller details as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of industrial painting techniques and materials.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
- Physical stamina for handling equipment and standing for long periods.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Some hands-on experience in industrial painting or related fields (1+ years preferred but not required).
- Willingness to complete apprenticeship training.
