Looking for an EXPERIENCED EEC Qualified Infant Teachers who is equipped and energized to lead our cubs!!

We are looking for someone with spirit and who wants to be inspired in teaching!!

This new position and ideal candidate will help us bring new life to our childcare centers. The right candidate will have the opportunity to be a Lead Teacher at our Academy.

Must be a high energy doer who is up for the opportunity and who is committed to bringing maximum energy everyday. This dynamic leader will grow the center program, build relationships with families, staff and the community.

This position will play a major role in the following areas of the center:

Lead Educators possess a deep understanding of the developmental needs of the children under their supervision and skillfully respond to these needs, ensuring a holistic and supportive approach to child development.

ESSENTIALS Qualifications and Education

  • Meet all requirements as outlined in Department of Early Education and Care for a Lead Qualified Teacher
  • Minimum requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Previous experience as a Teacher
  • Have credit-bearing coursework or equivalent LEAD Qualified
  • Suitable BRC
  • Complete staff orientation
  • Complete EEC Essentials
  • First Aid and CPR

Physical Requirements

  • A work physical and TB test completed within 12 months before or 1 month after the first day of employment.
  • Completion of Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to preschool-aged children.
  • Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Foster communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom events.
  • Provide individualized support to children, including those with special needs.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students through effective supervision and care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
