Information Technology Helpdesk Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive member of a helpdesk team supporting a Windows and Office 365 environment. The ideal candidate will be entry level, has strong Microsoft skills, and communicates well. Tremendous learning environment. Certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, including desktop support, printer support, and mobile devices.
• Administer IT infrastructure components such as Active Directory and DNS for efficient system operations.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance customer service delivery and resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience or equivalent education in technical support or IT help desk roles with a focus on customer service.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and operating systems .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of computer networking concepts including TCP, DNS, GPOs, and network administration principles.
• Experience with remote access technologies such as VPNs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Strong analytical skills to assess system performance and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
