Inside Sales Manager

About the Role:

As our Inside Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing the entire inside sales journey, from initial contact to conversion, in collaboration with the Head of Customer Experience. You will develop and execute sales strategies aligned with market dynamics to drive the achievement of revenue targets. This role demands a strategic thinker who can provide timely direction on pricing and approaches for inside sales opportunities, while maintaining an accurate understanding of results, forecasting, risks, and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Inside Sales Delivery:
    • Developing and executing a sales strategy to achieve targets.
    • Ensuring accurate lead qualification, nurturing, and progression through the sales funnel.
    • Managing and tracking the sales plan, adjusting as needed.
    • Coordinating with customer success for post-sale satisfaction and retention.
    • Driving large sales opportunities and providing strategic direction on pricing.
    • Leading networking and lead generation efforts.
    • Monitoring and optimizing CRM tool usage for productivity and reporting accuracy.
    • Tracking sales performance metrics and preparing regular reports for senior leadership.
    • Staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities to continuously improve team capabilities.
  • Customer Onboarding & Offboarding:
    • Overseeing smooth customer onboarding and offboarding processes.
    • Ensuring accurate capture and sharing of customer information.
    • Conducting exit interviews to gather feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Leading and mentoring the Inside Sales team, providing guidance, support, and training.
    • Coaching and developing the sales team through regular meetings and one-on-one sessions.
    • Implementing customised coaching and development plans for individuals.
    • Fostering a high-performing, collaborative sales environment.
    • Developing and implementing training programs for new and existing team members.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensuring 100% compliance with company policies and procedures, including SHE, Code of Conduct, HR, and Security Policy Compliance.

What You'll Bring:

  • Full driver's licence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in building, retaining, and managing a successful sales team (5+ years essential).
  • Business-to-Business management experience in a competitive service environment (5+ years essential).
  • A Degree or qualification in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A passion for coaching and developing people
  • Strong competencies in delivering results commercially, managing self, coaching and developing others, working with others, and displaying leadership.
  • A commitment to safety, health, and environment (SHE) practices.
